Dover-Foxcroft, Maine

The Scope of Work for this project consists of replacing the Dover Bridge. The bridge was built in 1930, and the deck is in serious condition, while the superstructure and substructure are both in poor condition. It was determined that a National Register Eligible Historic District is present at the location, requiring MaineDOT to mitigate the effects on the bridge and area.

During construction, traffic will be maintained by closing the bridge to vehicles and pedestrians and using detours.
