From November 15 until April 15 it shall be unlawful to leave any vehicle parked within the limits of any public street or way or public parking lot within said Town, so as not to interfere with the municipal snow removal operations between the hours of 11:00 PM of each day and 6:00 AM of the following day.
In addition to any penalty imposed by this ordinance, the Police Department may tow away and store any vehicle found in violation of this ordinance at the owner’s expense.
Please be aware that Title 29-A M.R.S.A., Section 2396 (4) reads “A person may not place and allow to remain on a public way snow or slush that has not accumulated there naturally.” Violations of this statute are subject to a significant fine, upon adjudication. Please assist the Town in its efforts to keep our roads safe over the winter months.
