Hunting and Fishing Licenses/Recreational Vehicles
The Town Office issues sporting licenses to all Maine Residents. If you are applying for hunting license for the first time, you are required to show proof of a Hunter's Safety Course. Junior Hunting Licenses start at age 10 and can be obtained until the youth turns 16, when he or she is then required to purchase an adult license. Children and teens are not required to purchase a fishing license until they turn 16 years old. All sporting licenses expire December 31st of every calendar year, although the various seasons listed on the licenses vary. Please check your law books for more information on season dates and requirements. These may be obtained in the Town Office.
